Those subsidiaries include, but are not limited to, North Carolina Mutual Insurance Agency, LLC and North Carolina Mutual Financial, LLC. Insurance products and services are offered by North Carolina Mutual Insurance Agency in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia. North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company was founded in 1898 and is dedicated to serving the insurance needs of individuals and groups. The company currently services over 200,000 individual policyholders who are the backbone of our business. In addition, there are over 250,000 people covered under group policies nationwide.

North Carolina Mutual Insurance Agency, LLC, is a separate brokerage which allows its sales representatives to market the best-in-class products of “A” rated insurance carriers across the life, health and property & casualty lines to individuals and businesses. This brokerage also provides pre-need insurance services to funeral home partners.

North Carolina Mutual Financial, LLC, provides funding for funeral homes. This funeral funding company is dedicated to keeping overhead costs down for the funeral home business owner while making it easy for customers to handle funeral expenses with assurance and confidence through assignment of life insurance proceeds.
